The Honorable Paul H. O’Neill, former U.S. secretary of the treasury and chairman and CEO of Alcoa, addresses the audience during the dedication ceremony. The $12 million building was partially funded by a $3 million gift from O'Neill, the largest private donation in SPEA's history. O'Neill is a regular visitor to SPEA and IU, meeting with students and faculty on frequent trips to campus.
