Recognizing IU’s Newest AAAS Fellows
IU President Michael A. McRobbie hosted a reception to honor five Indiana University faculty members, who have been named fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a distinction that recognizes outstanding contributions to the progress of science and research.

Brendal and Mackie were named AAAS fellows in 2016 and Moczek in 2015. Two additional faculty were named AAAS fellows in 2015 but were unable to attend: William F. Carroll Jr., adjunct professor in the IU Bloomington Department of Chemistry; and Distinguished Professor and Provost's Professor of Anthropology Richard R. Wilk.
