Randall and Deborah Tobias provided funding to build The Tobias Pavilion, which overlooks the new IU Prebys Amphitheater. The inaugural event was held following the November 30th IU Trustees meeting. The Tobias Pavilion was built as an addition to Bryan House on the IU Bloomington campus. The enclosed pavilion and additional patio space provides much-needed space for IU President Michael A. McRobbie and First Lady Laurie Burns McRobbie to host large gatherings at the Bryan House.The generosity of Randall and Deborah Tobias made the new pavilion possible.Guests attending the inaugural Tobias Pavilion event were the first to see six paintings by Indiana artist T. C. Steele and one painting by Steele’s fellow Hoosier Group artist J. Ottis Adams on display together in the Bryan House.
