IUPUI Chancellor Nasser Paydar delivers remarks during the North Hall dedication ceremony. North Hall is the first traditional residence hall built at IUPUI since the campus was formed in 1969. The residence hall opened in August for approximately 700 students, many of them first-year members of the IUPUI community.

Tralicia Powell Lewis, interim vice chancellor for student affairs, talks about North Hall and its impact on IUPUI students. North Hall was designed with resident interaction in mind. A grand lobby and 30 micro-lounges provide opportunity for connection, while classrooms are used for academics by day and Housing and Residence Life programs by night.
