IU President Michael A. McRobbie spent the day visiting IU Kokomo. During his visit, he took time to see the city's Kokomo Opalescent Glass Factory. Inside the factory, McRobbie toured the hot glass studio to see staff artists melt glass into unique art pieces.

IU President Michael A. McRobbie examines the sheet glass at Kokomo Opalescent Glass. For more than 122 years, Kokomo Opalescent Glass has been producing world famous sheet glass art. Kokomo Opalescent Glass is a manufacturer of colored glass for art and architecture with worldwide distribution and a strong commitment to research, education, and promoting sheet glass art.
