Following the ceremony, IU Kokomo Chancellor Susan Sciame-Giesecke led IU President Michael A. McRobbie and the IU Board of Trustees on a tour of the Main Building, which is pictured in the background. The improvements to the building include updated classroom technology, a food and nutrition laboratory, a mathematics laboratory, a new classroom for the campus’s Master of Business Administration program, and other spaces for collaborative learning and teaching.

IU President Michael A. McRobbie presided over the IU Kokomo Main Building renovation dedication ceremony. Constructed in 1965, IU Kokomo’s Main Building was the first structure on the South Washington Street campus, and it was the only building until 1980. The $14 million renovation is the Main Building’s first renovation in more than 20 years.
