IU Bloomington Undergraduate Commencement

IU President Michael A. McRobbie presents Curtis R. Simic with the honorary degree Doctor of Humane Letters. Simic is an IU alumnus and president emeritus of the IU Foundation.
IU alumnus Jamie Hyneman, co-host of the popular TV program “MythBusters,” arrives at the podium to address the Class of 2016. Hyneman is a former survival expert, charter boat captain, diver, film effects specialist, engineer and inventor as well as a TV host and producer. He has an IU degree in Russian language and linguistics through the Individualized Major Program in the College of Arts and Sciences.
