Distinguished Professor of Violin Stanley Ritchie talks about his work. Ritchie is a pioneer in the early music field in the United States and was the first Indiana University Jacobs School of Music faculty member to receive a lifetime achievement award from Early Music America. He has directed and appeared as a soloist with many period instrument ensembles, including The Academy of Ancient Music, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Tafelmusik, and the Handel and Haydn Society Orchestra.
